I am currently analysing my data before I begin drafting a manuscript. The manuscript then goes through several rounds of edits between my advisor and I. A polished draft is then sent to all our fellow coauthors, who leave comments. Only then is it submitted to peer review in a journal. If the reviewers like it, it’s accepted for publication. The entire process takes about a year!
